Imposter Syndrome
How to Build Confidence at Work
We meet lots of people in the PR, comms and public affairs industry who hold themselves to unattainably high standards or look constantly for validation from others.
They usually present as very successful people, often operating at the top of their game.
But inside they're worried about being found out as some sort of fraud.
That's imposter syndrome at work. By very definition it affects successful people. And a little bit of it can be useful. But, more often than not, it holds people back.
It can stop us speaking up, prevent us from going after promotion, make us play safe with our advice and cause us to avoid situations that might trigger feelings of discomfort, incompetence and anxiety.
If this sounds like you, you are not alone! We're here to help. This free webinar is filled with tips and techniques you can use to minimise imposter syndrome and build confidence at work.
