Training Overview

Improve and develop your working relationships with each client so that you can concentrate on getting results in the assurance that the account is running smoothly.

How you and your clients work together has an impact on how much you can achieve through the PR programme. When relationships are optimum, everything feels effortless. Inevitably, even experienced account handlers with a track record of success will find some relationships more challenging than others. After the course you'll know how to approach each of your client relationships in a straightforward way so that co-operation becomes the norm.

How will I benefit?

You will understand how to make difficult working relationships better and good working relationships great. You'll discover how to confidently negotiate deadlines, tackle difficult situations and present your ideas with clarity and persuasion.

You'll be given the tools to help you set expectations at each stage of the working relationship, from the 'honeymoon' period at the start of the contract to the long-standing retained client

Everyone's situation is different, so the course is structured to allow you to apply the principles to your own real-life scenarios. You'll be given plenty of opportunities to try out what you want to do and say along with helpful feedback and constructive advice for future development. This means that you'll be able to apply what you've learned and start to make a difference straight away.

Some really useful opportunities to chat through examples of difficult client situations and get a professional view. I enjoyed the discussion exercises. Talking out issues and ways to solve them - there were lots of little useful tips and takeaways which was great!

For anyone who has started out in a junior position of a business and wants to progress and be seen as a core member of a team, this training is for you. To hear the scenarios played out in a business context was encouraging and it was good to hear other people's opinions. I would highly recommend the training to anyone in the industry.
