Who is it for?
Account executives and account managers who are looking to get more from the client/agency relationship. If you want to increase your visibility and credibility with your client without treading on your account director’s toes, this is the course for you.

What will I get out of it?
This workshop takes an all round view of client management to give you a raft of techniques for dealing with your clients effectively. We use case studies and real-life examples to discuss ways of managing clients for success. There will be plenty of time for participants to discuss current challenges.

We look at how to deal with common tricky situations such as clients who are being over-serviced, admin-heavy clients, and how to turn a master-slave relationship into a consultancy-based one. We discuss techniques for delivering bad news to clients, how to set expectations - and how to exceed them.

The workshop will also cover the client lifecyle stages, helping to set your clients’ behaviour in context and enabling you to more accurately gauge how they will react to given situations. Participants will learn how to add value to the account and be viewed as professional consultants – all without treading on their account directors’ toes!
